The camp is specifically designed for enthusiasts interested in Gravity riding, who have a strong desire to progress to the next level. There will be three skill levels, and groups will be formed based on riding skills and goals. There is a separate group for juniors, with an age range of approximately 12–16 years. Juniors should be self-sufficient, able to manage lift rides independently.
The camp includes two full riding days, and right after that, you’ll have the opportunity to take part in the MTB Rally race weekend held at the same location. It’s a perfect way to push your limits and take your riding to new heights!
Who is the camp for?
New and experienced gravity riders, as well as young enthusiasts. We believe the camp offers immense value to participants, whether you're a seasoned SM-level DH racer or a rookie in the beginner categories. We believe that every rider has specific areas that clearly need improvement!
Skill levels
At the beginning of the camp, participants are divided into skill groups to ensure everyone receives the best possible coaching. The group divisions are based on participants' skills and experience. During the camp, each group rotates through different coaches to provide a well-rounded training experience. You can freely choose between Weekend Warriors or Experienced (open) groups based on your riding skills and goals. The final group assignments will be made at the start of the camp.
Training topics:
- MTBP Bikepark overview and lift usage
- Bike setup and gear
- Riding position and braking
- Riding berms and off-cambers
- Safe practice in challenging places
- Jumping: progressive progression from small to larger
- Drops and safe execution

Coaching team
Camp coaches:
- Ville Huikuri
- Ella Jokinen
- Essi Eskola
- Pyry Kurkela
Additional coaches will be brought in as needed if group sizes grow.
Make sure your bike is in good shape before the camp:
- Suspension is serviced and set up for your weight (check sag!)
- Chain is lubricated and gears are working
- Brake pads have enough material and brakes function reliably
- Tires are suitable for bikepark riding – look for side knobs for grip
Gear you need: Full-face helmet, knee pads, long pants, and preferably a long-sleeved jersey. Additional protective gear is up to you.
Get Ready Before the Camp
Take 2–3 easy days before the camp or rest completely – avoid hard workouts that leave you too tired to perform at your best.
Bring plenty of snacks and hydration, such as energy bars and sports drinks.
